First of all, i have to say is there are thousands of listed Companies which is not of my particular liking. I listed these 2 particular stock cause it has been play up by traders since last week. I have also stated not to hold in Bear Market unless you are investing for long term. Traders usually do day trading, buy in the morning, sell in the afternoon or the reverse.
In bear market, any Companies will also be affected by downturn. However, Companies with strong fundamental and balance sheet will survive.

Back to the business of these 2 Companies.

Ezra
The Company was incorporated in Singapore on 23 March 1999 under the name of L & E Rent-A-Car Pte Ltd. It changed its name to Ezra Marine Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd on 6 January 2000 and to Ezra Holdings Pte Ltd on 2 October 2000. On 24 June 2003, it was converted into a public limited company and renamed Ezra Holdings Limited.

The Group provides offshore support vessels and services to the offshore oil and gas industry. It also provides the shipping industry with other marine services such as provision of marine supplies and engineering services. Its business activities are carried out by its offshore support services division and marine services division.

Midas
The Company was incorporated in Singapore on 17 November 2000 under the name of Midas Holdings Pte Ltd and renamed to Midas Holdings Limited on 12 January 2004.

The Group's principal activities are as follows:-
i) Design, manufacture and installation on polyethylene pipes for use in various types of piping networks.
ii) Design and manufacture of aluminium alloy extrusion products for use in various industries.

The design, manufacture and installation on PE Pipes are undertaken by its PE Pipe Division (Wanshida) and the design, manufacture and sale of aluminium alloy extrusion products are undertaken by its Aluminium Alloy Division (Jilin Midas).

I agree with you on Ezra. A company worth investing in.

Midas I am skeptical on its management when there is an issue if I remember about some allegations. After all china-based companies.

better china companies usually listed in Hong Kong exchange.

Yes, Swiber is also on my radar screen.

Now most of the S-chip stock (China stock) kana hantam due to a few china company. (Fibrechem chem, Beautychina etc)

Currently i dont have that kind of $$$ to buy DBS to hold, too expensive unless it falls further.
But it seems like the markets are reacting now in anticipating that the worst is over. I am abit confused, though the markets move 6 months in advance. I am preparing to accumulate more after the 1st quarter results.

From a daily trend indicator I used this stock uptrend begin in late March
from about 55cts to 61cts level, however it is now overbought on daily charts,thus we are seeing some correction in the near-term thereafter prices should continue to test higher level, some may call this recent upmove only a bear rally (disbelief) as the downtrend resistance line(approx $1.80) dated back Nov 2007 hasnt been broken.

I would say this stock is building a base between 30cts to 60cts, any dip below 50cts is an opportunity to accumulate positions for the long term if one like this stock.

Hahaha, surprise, right? I used to monitor these 2 stocks years ago, and got burnt. Now that it went back to quite since last dec, i am monitoring and wanna accumulate, but not enough $$$. Too bad, dont dare to play contra anymore since the settlement date shrink from 7 days to 3 days.
