Hi, just wanting to share my portfolio

Won't give out numbers, just the stock name and their current prices..

Jaya holdings - 0.57
Cosco Corp - 1.24
Ho Bee Inv - 1.67
SC Global - 1.76
Golden Agri - 0.505
ASL Marine - 0.91
Kep Land - 3.36

except for golden agri, ho be, sc global and asl marine (bought recently, fell alot during the past 2 days) the rest are sitting on paper gains (bought mid last year)

Any comments from experts on my porfolio? Not a big one just few lots here and there. Thanks in advance Smile

Kep Land is the best counter in ur portfolio

For me, I aim for long-term passive income.

So I have Starhub, SPH and lots of REITS. lol

Suntec
K-REIT
Starhill
Capitamall

Currently sitting on a about $500 paper gain

Why would someone surf a betting forum and flame another person if he himself nber bet?

Most females nber bet on soccer but I dun see them surfing a betting forum "just for fun" and start flaming people.

Singaporean males realli have lots of free time on their hands. Should try to make more babies to help the birth rates.

haha ya. kep land already profit alot liao, i am in for long term capital gains. i once considered going the same route as you, but decided that in order to maximise my limited funds, i decided to buy very low and sell as high as possible, so i pick stocks base on their past history vs current performance vs long term potential.

Looking at at least 100% capital gains on each stock b4 selling, some even 200% or more Wink (E.g. jaya bought at 30cents+/- / kep land bought at $1+/-)

Other than that, Golden Agri is a good stock to take small profits now n then. haha. keep fluctuating between the 50c to 60c range.

Today's market looking good, any comments?

short lived rebound.

broad market shows signs of weakness even though sti is up nearly 2%.

expecting sti to hit 2650 before rebounding again

Bro, tat sounds like a nice strategy. I will start investing like ur style for the next major market crash.

For now, I m jus laying a solid and secured foundation first. At the same time, saving bullets for the next big crash to buy cheap.

one thing to note - is that you must be psychologically, mentally and emotionally able to take the market drop during the crash and adopt a long term view by either averaging down always (if you have the $$$) or buy the counter to your own perceived valuation. Because when market crash, there is no support level. So the valuation is based on your set of criteria (e.g. DDM, DCF etc.). Even your margin of safety might not help unless you have a wide "safety net".

I agree Keppel Land and Ho Bee are 2 property counters that are doing well. In fact, if you bought from low till current price today, you will have made more than 100% paper profits!

Cheers~~~
