RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1) MANAGEMENT
1.1 THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE WILL MANAGE THE TOURNAMENT
2) ELGIBILITY
2.1 ALL 2006 CURRENT NATIONAL/S-LEAGUE/PRIME LEAGUE AND NFL PLAYERS
ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY.
3) FIXTURES/POSTPONEMENTS/RAIN-OFFS
3.1 REQUEST FOR POSTPONEMENT OF ANY FIXTURES BY ANY TEAM WILL NOT BE
ENTERTAINED
3.2 IN THE EVENT THAT ANY MATCH IS ABANDONED DUE TO WEATHER
CONDITION,WE WILL ARRANGE FOR A REPLAY .THE ABANDONMENT OF A GAME WILL BE DECIDED BY THE REFREE WHO IS OFFICIATING THAT PARTICULAR GAME.
*AMENDED>>EACH TEAM PAY $15.00 AS A REFREE FEE FOR THAT
ABANDED GAME.
ABANDED GAME DETAILS:
A)WITHIN 40 MINS IF A GAME IS ABANDED>>(1ST HALF)
COMPELETE GAME WIIL BE REPLAY
B)AFTER 41 MINS IF A GAME IS ABANDED>>(2ND HALF)
ONLY REMAINDING MINUTES LEFT FOR THE COMPLETION OF THAT GAME WILL BE REPLAYED.
EXAMPLE:

ONLY 20 MINS OF THE REMAINDING TIME WILL BE REPLAYED

4) PERIOD AND VENUES
PERIOD : 1ST GAME KICK OFF ON 05 FEB 2006
VENUE : HENDERSON SEC SCHL AND AVAILABLE SPORTS COUNCIL FIELDS
IMPORTANT NOTE>>
NO SMOKING OR CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL
OR ANY INTAKE OF UNLAWFUL SUBSTANCES WILL BE TOLERATED
AROUND THE PREMISES OF THE TOURNAMENT VENUES.ESPECIALLY
AT HENDERSON SECONDARY SCHOOL AS IT IS A SCHOOL COMPOUND.
IF CAUGHT OR FOUND FOR ANY SUCH OFFENCES,THAT PARTICULAR
TEAM OR PLAYER WILL BE HANDED OVER TO THE APPROPRIATE
AUTHOURITY IMMEDIATELY.
5) ENTRANCE FEE
REGISTRATION FEE: $250.00(INCLUSIVE OF CHALLENGE CUP REGISTRATION)

GAME FEE : $80.00 >> TO BE PAID ON EVERY GAME FIXTURED

WHEN A WALK OVER IS AWARDED>>>>>
BOTH TEAMS (TEAM PRESENT & NOT PRESENT) MUST PAY THE GAME FEE.

ABOUT VOUCHERS CONVERTION TO CASH:
IF THE CHAMPION OR THE RUNNERS UP WANTS TO CONVERT THE VOUCHERS TO CASH>>A FACE VALUE FOR THE VOUCHERS WHICH WILL BE BELOW $3000,$2000 AND $800,RESPECTIVELY CAN BE REDEEMD FROM THE ORGANIZERS.THE FACE VALUE WILL DEPEND AT THE POINT OF TIME OF CONVERTION.
7) OFFICIALS
REFREES WILL OFFICIATE THE MATCHES AND THEIR DECISIONS WILL BE FINAL
8) REGISTRATION OF TEAMS/PLAYERS
8.1 EACH TEAM SHALL COMPRISE OF A TEAM MANAGER AND A MAXIMUM OF
20PLAYERS.THE TEAM’S MANAGER AND OFFICIALS WILL BE ALLOWED TO
PLAY ONLY.IF THEY ARE REGISTERED AS PLAYERS.
8.2 ONCE REGISTERED,THE PLAYER SHALL ONLY PLAY FOR ONE TEAM
THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT
8.3 TEAM MANAGERS ARE RESPONSIBLE IN ENSURING THAT ALL DETAILS
GIVEN IN THE REGISTRATION FORMS ARE CORRECT BEFORE SENDING TO THE ORGANIZERS.
8.4 A PLAYER WILL ONLY BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN A MATCH,IF HIS
REGISTRATION IS RECEIVED AND IN ORDER AT LEAST 3 CLEAR
WORKING DAYS BEFORE THE MATCH COMMENCEMENT.
(FOR TEAMS WHO HAVE NOT FILL UP THE 20 PLAYERS SLOTS )
8.5 ALL PLAYERS SHOULD BRING ALONG THEIR IDENTITY CARDS FOR
IDENTIFICATION PURPOSES,FAILING WHICH THEY WOULD NOT BE
ALLOWED TO PLAY IN THE MATCH.
8.6 OPEN WINDOW REGISTRATION/DEREGISTRATION >>>
TEAMS WILL BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER AND DEREGISTER ANY PLAYERS,A MAXIMUM OF 5 TIMES,IN THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT.
9) RULES AND REGULATIONS
THE MATCHES SHALL BE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAS RULES AND
REGULATIONS
10) COMPETITION SYSTEM
LEAGUE SYSTEM>>HOME AND AWAY
IN THE LEAGUE,THE WINNER WILL BE AWARDED 3 POINTS AND THE LOSER NIL
POINT,FOR A DRAW,BOTH TEAMS WILL BE AWARDED 1 POINT EACH
IN THE EVENT OF A TIE IN THE LEAGUE POSITION,IT SHALL BE DECIDED AS :
a)GOAL DIFFERENCE
b)HIGHEST GOAL SCORED FOR/AGAINST
c)REMATCH
11) DURATION OF MATCH
THE DURATION OF EVERY MATCH IS TO BE 80 MINUTES DIVIDED
INTO 2 HALVES OF 40 MINUTES EACH WITH 10 MINUTES INTERVAL
12) COLOURS
THE COLOURS REGISTERED FOR THE JERSEY BY EACH TEAM WILL
BE MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT AND NO
CHANGE IN THE COLOURS IS ALLOWED.EACH TEAM MAY
REGISTER A MAXIMUM OF TWO COLOURS.
13) MATCH BALLS
EACH TEAM IS REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR OWN MATCH BALLS.
14) MINIMUM NUMBER OF PLAYERS
NO MATCH SHALL COMMENCE UNLESS EACH TEAM HAS AT LEAST
9 PLAYERS INCLUDING GOALKEEPER.AFTER A GRACE OF 15 MINUTES
THE TEAM WHICH FAILS TO FIELD THE REQUIRED NUMBERS OF PLAYERS
SHALL BE DEEMED TO HAVE CONCEDED A WALK-OVER.THE OPPONENT
WILL BE DECLARED A WINNER WITH 3 GOALS LEAD AND 3 POINTS AWARDED.
15) WITHDRAWAL
a) ANY TEAMS WHICH CONCEDES A WALK OVER IN THE LEAGUE SYSTEM,THE
OPPONENT WILL BE DECLARED THE WINNER WITH 3 GOALS AND 3 POINTS
AWARDED.

PLS TAKE NOTE:BOTH TEAMS(PRESENT AND NOT PRESENT),HAVE TO
PAY THE GAME FEE AS FOLLOWS:
TEAM PRESENT >> $50.00
TEAM NOT PRESENT >> $80.00
b) IF THE REFREE IS COMPELLED TO ABANDON THE GAME DUE TO REFUSAL OF THE PLAYERS TO CONTINUE WHEN SO ORDERED,THE COMMITTEE
MAY AFTER INQUIRY EXPEL THE TEAM FROM FUTURE PARTICIPATION IN
TOURNAMENT.
16) SUBSTITUTION
16.1 ANY 7 PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED TO BE SUBSTITUTED DURING THE MATCH.
THE SEVEN SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE ONLY SELECTED FROM THE SEVEN
NOMINATED PLAYERS LISTED IN THE TEAM REGISTRATION FORM.
16.2 NO SUBSTITUTION IS ALLOWED AFTER FULL TIME,WHEN THE TEAMS ARE
TAKING PENALTY KICKS.>>>FOR CHALLENGE CUP
16.3 you are allowed to do a maximum of 7 counts of subs....
e.g>>a single player can b substituted 7 times in 1
game..and after that no subs will be allowed for that game
for that team who hv utalised the 7 counts of subs.If a
player being substituted and he comes bck again into the
field to play..its considered 2 counts of subs.Such the team
only have balance of 5 counts of subs to be used.
TO SUMMARISE>>a team can either use 7 different players as a sub OR a
single player 7 times as a sub>>the bordrline is..>> u r only allowed to
sent in or take out players 7 times.
IF INFRINGED>>1)THE GAME WILL BE CONSIDERED A WALKOVER OR THE SCORELINE
STAYS,WHICHEVER IS THE ADVANTAGE TO THE OPPONENT TEAM(THE TEAM WHICH DID
NOT INFRINGE THE RULE)
2)THE TEAM MANAGER WILL BE CALLED UPON BY THE COMMITTEE FOR
FURTHER DISCIPLINARY ACTION IF THE ORGANISERS DEEM FIT TO DO
SO.DEPENDING CASE TO CASE SCENARIOS..THE DECISION WILL BE
SOLELY MADE BY THE ORGANISING COMMITTEE.
17) PROTEST
ANY PROTESTS TO BE MADE >>>>THE OFFICIAL OR REFREE WHO IS
PRESENT IN THE MATCH SHOULD BE NOTIFIED BEFORE THAT
PARTICULAR GAME IS OVER.A PROTEST FEE OF $200.00 IS APPLICABLE.
18) CAUTION/SEND OFF
18.1 ANY PLAYER WHO RECEIVED>>>
a)TWO YELLOW CARDS IN A MATCH >>> WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR NEXT 1 GAME
b)ONE STRAIGHT RED CARD >>> WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR NEXT TWO GAMES
18.2 ANY TEAM WHO FIELDS A SUSPENDED PLAYER DURING THE TOURNAMENT
WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
18.2 MANAGERS’/TEAM OFFICIALS’ RED CARD OFFENCE>>
MANAGERS/TEAM OFFICIALS WHO HAVE BEEN SHOWN RED CARD BY THE REFREE, WILL BE PROHIBITED FROM FURTHER INVOLVEMENTS WITH THE TEAM FOR THAT PATICULAR GAME.
ORGANISERS WILL KEEP TRACK OF YELLOW AND RED CARDS OFFENDERS.A RED CARD OFFENDER/S WILL BE HIGHLIGHTED IN THE GAME FIXTURES
19) INDEMNITY
THE ORGANISERS AND ITS SPONSORS SHALL BE INDEMNIFIED AGAINST
ALL ACTIONS,SUITS AND PROCEEDINGS,CLAIMS,DEMANDS,COST AND
EXPENSES WHATSOEVER MAY BE TAKEN AGAINST IT,IN RESPECT,OF
DEATH,INJURY,DISABILITY OR DAMAGGE IN WHATSOEVER NATURE
WHICH MAY BE CAUSED OR SUFFERRED BY REASON OF PARTICIPATION
IN THE TOURNAMENT.
20) DISQUALIFICATION /DEMERITS
20.1 ANY PLAYER/OFFICIAL WHO PHYSICALY ABUSE THE REFREES OR THE ORGANISERS,THAT PLAYER OR OFFICIAL’S TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE TOURNAMENT.
20.2 ANY VIOLANT CONDUCT BY THE PARTICIPATING TEAM OR BY THE TEAM OFFICIALS AGAINST THE REFREE OR THE ORGANISERS,A MAXIMUM OF 6 POINTS MAYBE DEDUCTED DEPENDING ON THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE OFFENCE.THE DECISION WILL BE MADE BY THE ORGANISING COMMITTEE.NO NEGOTIATION WILL BE ENTERTAINED.THE ORGANISERS HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT, IF SO ASKED FOR EXPLANATION.
20.3 ANY TEAM FEILDING UNREGISTERED OR NOT ELIGIBLE PLAYER WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE TOURNAMENT OR A MAXIMUM OF 6 DEMERIT POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE TEAMS TOTAL POINTS ACHIEVED.
NOTE>>INVOVLEMENT IN FIGHTS AND HOOLIGANISM WILL NOT BE
TOLERATED IN THIS TOURNAMENT AT ANY POINT OF TIME.
21) MATTERS IN DISPUTE
DISPUTE ON ANY MATTERS NOT COVERED BY THE ABOVE RULES AND
REGULATIONS SHALL BE REFERRED TO THE ORGANIZERS WHOSE DECISION
IS FINAL.
