What about locking it 72 hours after the first 'congrats' reply?

Usually the the first 'congrats' reply would be posted immediately upon the settlement of the bet which will be about 70 hours after the start of the match.

I do not wish to see members getting meaningless yc as well as old threads getting bumped up unnecessarily.

We actually already implemented this a few years ago. We have adjusted some parameters and hope it will work better now.

In terms of coding and programming is always not that simple as it really hard to stage and hardening a server.
