We have tried to think about how to merge it but considering that many people have betted, cancelled, rebetted when they saw their bets were no longer in place, etc I do not think it is feasible to try to regain the missing data without compromising other things as there are too many variations.
All considered, this is the better outcome as we would have stand to miss out on Saturday matches altogether had we waited. (And the whole of AB would have been down for 30 hours)
