Dear Friends,

                   Its the end of October and the beginning of a new month. We have seen the continual contraction of the stock market lately due to foreign domestic issues in the EURO as well as the uncertainty of the US being able to boost its own economy after Bernanke's Q3 announcement. What I am more excited about is the new addtion to the Investment List where I have included the PB ratio for those of you who had requested to strongly have it. Its an addtional gauge to allow those of you fundamentalist to review the counters every month easily and effectively.

                    We see the new addition of a few counters unto the list please take note. In addition, I am very excited to see a few of my favourite counters that have covered all 5 requirements (please refer to Investment list). On our REIT list the 2 new counters in there are Ascendas Hospitality Trust and Religare Health Trust. Religare currently trading below its IPO may look enticing below 0.80 at the moment.

                     My personal thoughts for the month of November. The East Coast of the US has recently gone through a National Calamity (Hurricane Sandy) and would soon need lots of infrastructure building in the states that have been hit hard covering an estimate 60Million people. This 4th Quarter US numbers may not be as rosy. However, my take that better numbers might start showing in 2013 from the rebuilding. Personally, I have friends who have lost their cars and had their homes destroyed.   For those investors who like the US market it would be good to look at Walmart and Home Depot as a short term investment. Are we toppish at this current stage? It is possible that we may contract more on the STI before we move up. The range bound for the past 2 weeks was 2060-2030 levels. Do take note the holiday season is around the corner (e.g. Christmas,Thanksgiving and Deepavali)

                       My personal investment would be looking for 1-2 counters to pick up from this drop and hold until Jan-Feb 2013. Do call me if you have any questions and I look forward in catching up with you all soon.
