DJ MARKET COMMENT: Singapore Shares May Rise; 3300 Resistance Tipped

0049 GMT [Dow Jones] Singapore's STI may extend Tuesday's gains as stronger economic data in the U.S. helped douse concerns about Cyprus and Europe. "The rally by U.S. stocks last night is likely to cue the local bourse to a more optimistic opening this morning," SIAS Research says in a note. The benchmark could test and potentially overcome the 3300 psychological hurdle, it says, noting support is at 3230. The STI closed 0.6% higher at 3288.53 on Tuesday
